New Zealand Botanic Gardens

Flowers, flowers, flowers. Everywhere you look you'll find lots of flowers. Small ones, big ones, in every size, in every colour... I was lucky to go to New Zealand on spring time. Flowers were blossoming beautifully, and after that huge earthquake that shocked Christchurch, it was life reborning.
Auckland is a big city, with all its towers; so different from the other cities I visited in the South Island. But still you can find peace in one of those nice parks with such branchy trees and loads of flowers. And birds. If you look close enough, you'll see very interesting ones. Many seagulls and rare species, I would never now the name...
And there's of course Hamilton Gardens. No way of describing it. Gardens in every style: chinese, japanese, indian, italian, maori, and so on... Each one is unique! The last pictures are from the Maori Exhibition in Hamilton Gardens. The exotic Maori people and the amazing Haka - the traditional war cry. Enjoy!
