South Korea is a very special country, although I’ve visited only Seoul and the frontier with North Korea... Even being a short staying, I was able to learn a lot and admire the beauty of palaces and nature. To get to have known the history of Korean War was an unique experience, since I've learnt it by visiting the DMZ - Demilitarized Zone, at the frontier with North Korea. It was something really strong, as both Koreas marked 59 years since war armistice. I was able to walk between Korean soldiers and see the North Korea from the observatory at the frontier! Also, I walked inside a tunnel made underground by North Koreans to attack Seoul! No words!

Seoul has a lot of amazing palaces. They are all so beautiful, with all those colors, and trees and flowers, and birds, and lakes... Inside Seoul, there are traditional villages in the middle of the city, surrounded by modern buildings. I had the opportunity to have Korean tea inside one of these houses and it was so amazing that I felt like I was outside the capital. It was like I've left for a peaceful place in countryside... Seoul Tower is a very romantic place, where lovers "lock" their promises in very special sculptures made with locks. The view of the city is amazing with a red sunset! But my favorite place was Gwanhwamun Square, where kids play into the colored live fountain.

I can't forget to thank my great korean friend and his awesome parents, who made my staying so perfect and unforgetable! 감사합니다!!
