Yokoso Japan! ようこそ日本!Kyoto 京都

Kyoto is the most Japanese place in Japan, according to one of my japanese friends - and I agree. Mixing traditional and modern, you can visit the so antique temples, with more than a thousand years old, see people wearing kimono and yukata on the streets, walk through really tiny streets, and at the same time enter a modern shopping center with every thing you need. Actually, the best place to rest on the melting summer time, due it's fresh air conditioning!

One special thing about Kyoto is the food. Awesome! You'll find everything you can image prepared with Green Tea! And the Tea Ceremony is really amazing... Beautiful historic castles and palaces, in perfect harmony with splendorous gardens. Also lucky again, to see Gion Matsuri, one of the three greatest local festivals in Japan. Don't forget to walk down the Philosopher's Road 哲学の道, and breath the energy of trees and temples. Enjoy!
