Bangkok is a city of contrasts where poverty and luxury share its places. Downtown is a huge open market with people selling everything you can imagine. Colors, smells, people. Noisy and chaotic streets hiding Buddhist temples of peace. Walk around Siam neighborhood and you can find huge shopping centers with famous brand stores and nice restaurants. In between, beautiful palaces covered with gold, shining brightly with the sun.
Some weird experiences, like getting on a tuk-tuk or the national anthem theme, when the whole country stops for a few minutes... Exotic food; too spicy for me... But the Pad-Thai is awesome!
And if you want to buy something, don't forget to bargain and watch closely, otherwise you might be cheated! Enjoy!
