New Zealand is a very special country. Divided in two, the North Island and the South Island, shows not only a geographical difference but also cultural.

Auckland is an international city. Thousands of Asian restaurants and modern buildings and lots of people walking up and down the Queen Street; contrasting to the South Island, with all its wilderness landscapes, untouched and really small villages with almost anyone on the streets, and a Coffee Shop for foreigners to stop by... The Sky Tower can be seen from every where around Auckland. And once up there, you'll have a 360º view of the region! On my last night, I went to a DJ Competition - Red Bull Three Style - nice experience!

Waiheke is one of the islands near Auckland where you can spend the day just seating on the beach admiring the beauty: feeling the breeze, watching the waves and remembering childhood when you notice the kids playing around...

Devonport is a place to be in a sunny Sunday! The historic village is lovely with its Victorian Style houses. And being there in a celebrating day was pretty cool! The New Zealand Royal Navy and the solemnity of the band playing Ari Barroso's Brazilian song! Such peace to be there and see the families with their kids having fun, just laying down on the grass near the beach and listening to the Royal Navy's band!

To visit the place where the movie The Piano was shot, is indescribable. Karekare Beach is unique. The reflexion of the sky on the water, changing the sight every second as the tide comes and goes... The black and white sand is the canvas for beautiful drawings made by the cold breeze... And starfishes and shellfishes waiting for the next wave on the big rock in the middle of the beach... Enjoy!
